This policy explains how AGD Group collects and uses personal data through this website, and the rights you have in relation to it. It is written to meet the requirements of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Agrogled-Invest SRL, a company registered in the Republic of Moldova, with its legal address at str. Vokzalinaia 91, Taraclia, MD-7401, Republic of Moldova (“AGD Group”, “we”, “us”, “our”). AGD Group has offices in Chișinău (Moldova), London (United Kingdom) and Sofia (Bulgaria).
Agrogled-Invest SRL is the controller of the personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about this policy or your personal data using the contact form or by writing to our legal address above, marking your letter “Data protection”.
2. Scope
This policy applies to personal data collected through this website, including through our contact form. It does not apply to third-party websites that we link to, such as the CORTEN-VIN website, which have their own privacy policies.
3. The personal data we collect
- Enquiries. When you use our contact form we collect your name, company, email address, the type of enquiry and your message, together with any other information you choose to include.
- Correspondence. If we reply to you, we keep a record of that correspondence.
- Technical data. When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically records limited technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time of the request. This is used to operate and secure the website.
Please do not send us special category data (for example, information about health, religion or political opinions) through the website. We do not knowingly collect it.
4. How we use your data and our lawful basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis (UK GDPR Article 6) |
|---|---|
| Responding to your enquiry and any follow-up discussions | Our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries; or, where your enquiry relates to a potential contract with you, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract |
| Operating, maintaining and securing the website | Our legitimate interests in running a secure and functioning website |
| Keeping records and complying with legal and regulatory obligations | Compliance with a legal obligation |
| Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims | Our legitimate interests |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered that our interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms. We will not send you marketing emails unless you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary with:
- other companies within AGD Group, where needed to deal with your enquiry;
- service providers who support our website and communications (such as website hosting, form handling, email and IT support), acting on our instructions under written contracts;
- our professional advisers, such as lawyers, auditors and insurers;
- law enforcement agencies, regulators, courts or other public authorities where we are required or permitted by law; and
- a buyer or successor in the event of a sale, merger or reorganisation of all or part of our business.
6. International transfers
AGD Group operates in Moldova, the United Kingdom and Bulgaria, so your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the UK. Where we transfer personal data from the UK to a country that does not have UK adequacy regulations, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses issued under the UK GDPR. You can contact us for more information about these safeguards.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Enquiry data is normally kept for no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless it becomes part of an ongoing business relationship or we need to keep it longer to meet legal, accounting or regulatory requirements. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security purposes.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. However, no transmission of information over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent to us online.
9. Your rights
Under data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances;
- ask us to restrict how we use your data in certain circumstances;
- object to our use of your data where we rely on legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format, where applicable; and
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the contact form or by writing to our legal address. We will respond within one month, which may be extended in certain circumstances as permitted by law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
10. Complaints
If you have concerns about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve them. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection, at ico.org.uk. If you live or work in the European Economic Area, you may also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
11. Children
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at anyone under the age of 18.
